ART EXPO ISTANBUL
In our modern days economy / business world is building up with culture and disciplines and it is inescapable to keep art out of this development.
Today, contemporary art continues its works with the same aspect; takes an interdisciplinary approach to art audience and delivers a wide audience using the media in any way promise, as a gatherer of art audiences, our intention is no different than this. ART EXPO ISTANBUL is the reflection of what art became today. ART EXPO ISTANBUL is the new address for integrationist structure of art to meet with Turkish audiences.
Each work reinforces its promises by bringing the audience and the work together in different aspects in ART EXPO ISTANBUL. The artists will be able to make their voices’ heard in INTERNATIONAL ART CENTER while they express their culture by their works.
INTERNATIONAL ART CENTER is aimed to gather artists from all over the world by ART EXPO ISTANBUL and also hosts local and foreign artists in the Asian part of Istanbul.
INTERNATIONAL ART CENTER likes to have this exhibition in long terms and for the exhibition that will take in place between 10-20 March 2011 we are in progress to collaborate with Italy and America. Our plan is to make this exhibition MOBILE; both in Turkey and abroad.

Currently, there are over 7000 both local and foreign artist that are connected via digitally who are informed as September 7 as the first announcement date. Also, these artists will be informed with updated information. Cultural establishments and universities that our organization is in contact are informed about the exhibition. Besides, artists whose works have been exhibited in our gallery are also informed. Those artists can be seen on our website;

The works and artists that are suitable for ART EXPO ISTANBUL have begun to send their acceptance.
The applications of the artists accelerates with the forthcoming days and those are suitable already begin to get their acceptance by us and their works begin to arrive to our gallery.
REQUIREMENTS
Artist’s biography and contact address should be mailed to info@internationalartcenter.net together with 2 jpeg images (at least 300 dpi resolution is required).

RULES FOR APPLICATION
By applying you agree to abide the rules, policies and decisions of ART EXPO ISTANBUL
• All work must be original, handcrafted work.
• No commercial reproductions or embellished commercial products are allowed.
• If you produce work in editions, you must disclose edition numbers to the exhibition jury, the jury should be informed about it and it should be involved in work description.
• Artists may only show work in categories approved by the jury. All work exhibited must be of the quality and type of that shown in the images juried.
• At the back side of the work;
o Artist’s: name, contact information, address
o Work’s: name, size, sales fee (except gallery rate), with/out framed, materials used to make,
should be written clearly.
• All information may be well-written and read.
• The chosen works should necessary have mechanism.
• Each artist can submit 2 pieces of works with 50 Euro fee.
• The subject is ‘free’.
• Measurement of the work shouldn’t be (approximately) shorter than 50 centimeters, longer than 100 centimeters.

Media Notes
ART EXPO ISTANBUL reserves the right to re-category an artist’s submission. All works will be categorized according to the rules below.
Digital art:
Includes any original work in which the original image, or the manipulation of other source material was executed by the artist using the computer. Work must be in editions, signed and numbered, on archival papers, inks, and emulsions.
Jewelry:
Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may participate in this category.
Photograph:
Includes artist’s original source material and is processed either by the artist or under his/her direct supervision. Work must be editions, signed and numbered, on archival paper, inks, and emulsions.
Printmaking:
Hand pulled original prints (signed and numbered limited editions) only are acceptable in the printmaking category.
GENERAL INFORMATION
• The %30 of the price written on the works is gallery rate.
• The participants and information of receiving the work by the gallery will be declared by us later.
• INTERNATIONAL ART CENTER doesn’t have any responsibility from the damage which might happen during the transportation.
• The transportation responsibility of the works to/from INTERNATIONAL ART CENTER is artists’.
